Police Chaplain

Two volunteer Police Chaplains, Warren Murphy and Joe Stewart, offer guidance and assistance to people during times of crisis. The program  serves as a communication link between people in crisis and their own spiritual advisor. Chaplains are also aware that a Police Officers job is dangerous and stressful and are available to officers and their families for council and advice.

The Chaplains ride with officers on patrol and are on call to assist in those cases where officers feel their assistance and counsel may be helpful. This includes help in: death notifications, family disturbances, suicide attempts, bereavement counseling or despondent persons.
